A waste tyre cutting machine is used to cut whole tires into manageable sections before shredding or further size reduction. This pre-processing step improves shredding efficiency and reduces wear on downstream equipment.
In a typical tire recycling plant, the waste tyre cutting machine works together with a tire shredder machine, rubber granulator, and rubber powder production line to ensure stable and efficient operation.

Leading Tire Recycling Equipment Manufacturer
In China Delivering Fully Customized Tire Recycling Solutions
HVST provides a complete tire cutting machine line including tire ring cutter, tire strip cutter, tire block cutter, and rim separator. This standard tire cutting system is designed for efficient waste tyre pre-processing, converting whole tires into rubber strips and blocks for shredding and granulation.

After tire cutting pre-processing, rubber blocks can be further processed into granules or powder through shredding, granulation, and milling systems.

Waste Tyre Cutting Machine (Standard Type)
This cutting system can cut tire into 3-5cm tire blocks for further process into rubber powder or rubber granule in the next step.
The main working part of this machine is two relative rotary roll shafts with the same speed. When tire circle cut into the middle of two rollers, it will be extruded by roll shaft, at the same time, be squeezed, Sheared and tear by the two relative rotary rollers. And finally complete the separation of the steel wire.
The rubber cracking mill is part of a complete tire recycling system, which converts waste tires into rubber powder step by step.

Working process of the standard waste tyre cutting machine (pre-processing step):

Below are common questions about tire cutting machine line and waste tyre cutting machines used in tire recycling projects.

The tire cutting machine line is widely used in tire recycling plants, rubber granule production, and rubber powder processing projects. It is suitable for processing passenger tires, truck tires, and pre-treated OTR tires.
This system is ideal for reducing tire size before shredding, improving efficiency and reducing wear on downstream equipment.
A waste tyre cutting machine is used in the pre-processing stage of a tire cutting machine line to cut whole waste tires into smaller sections. This reduces tire size and improves shredding efficiency.
Yes. Heavy-duty machines can process truck tires and pre-treated OTR tires. For large tires, you can also use a OTR tire cutting machine designed for higher capacity and larger diameters.
Yes. Cutting is an essential pre-processing step in most tire recycling lines. It reduces load on the tire shredder, improves throughput, and extends blade lifespan.
It can process passenger car tires, truck tires, bus tires, and pre-treated OTR tires, depending on the machine model and capacity.
In a complete tire recycling line, a tire cutting machine works with shredders, granulators, magnetic separators, and screening systems to achieve efficient processing.
Selection depends on tire size, capacity, and downstream equipment. HVST can provide customized solutions based on your tire recycling project requirements.
